At Cradle Cat Hotel, we believe that quality cat care starts with a sincere commitment to understanding the needs of our guests. Our care philosophy is backed by science, structured in approach, and puts our feline guests first. It is developed based on veterinary best practices and environmental design principles from internationally recognised institutions such as the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM) and the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP).

1. An environment designed for cats
Our rooms are designed to cater to the physical, mental, and emotional needs of our feline guests. Every cat needs a space to feel safe and secure - all our rooms are designed to have safe spaces, whether hideouts where our guests have visual privacy and a sense of physical security, or perches where they can monitor their environment from a safe distance. Our suites also provide plenty of space that allow movement and exploration. Having spacious play areas also means that our guests have opportunities to exercise natural cat behaviours such as observing, stalking and pouncing; or simply to just hang out and stretch out as they would at home.
2. Cat-led interactions
At Cradle, interactions are always feline led. Our team is trained to read and understand cat body language and facial expressions. This allows us to respond appropriately with actions that build trust and minimize stress. Whether it is gentle grooming, quiet companionship or active play time, we let our guests tell us what they are comfortable with. We believe in positive, consistent and predictable cat-human interactions. Your cat’s comfort and preferences are always respected.
3. Transparent communication with owners
We believe in honest and open communication with cat owners. You know your cat best and we work closely with you to ensure that every decision made during your cat’s stay is done collaboratively, especially when concerns arise and adjustments to their care is required. Detailed wellbeing updates along with photos and videos are sent daily to keep you connected to your cat. CCTV access is also available as an added feature for 24/7 access to what your cat is up to during their entire stay.
4. Hygiene guided by veterinary standards
Our methodical cleaning protocols are based on veterinary hygiene standards using veterinary-grade disinfectants. Our rooms are built with non-porous and easy to clean materials and laid logically to allow our team to disinfect and clean effectively.

We are committed to ongoing learning and continuous improvement to our cat care approach. Our team members are always seeking out knowledge through formal education and courses to keep ourselves in the know with updated knowledge. Daily interactions with our guests also allows us to learn from their unique needs and behaviours. It is important to us to be always evolving and improving.
